This magnificent piece was designed by accomplished First Nations artist Noel Brown and fabricated from steel by BC artist Jack Willoughby. Noel is a member of the Snuneymuxw First Nation on the east coast of Vancouver Island. He began carving professionally in 1995 and received inspiration from James Lewis, a prominent Northwest Coast artist. He has also worked and learned from other talented individuals such as Richard Baker, Matthew Baker and Darin Lewis. Noel is renowned for his Coast Salish Art and clean designs. His art can be found in galleries and private collections around the world. His carvings are on public display at the Nanaimo BC Museum, as well as at the BC Ferries Departure Bay terminal, cruise ship terminal, and other public areas.

This wall mounted Coast Salish salmon is available in 3 sizes and 2 colours. Use one as a statement piece or several to create an amazing impact wall!

Metal sculpture

I bought a lovely metal fish sculpture on a visit to Vancouver Island last summer. I liked it so much, I ordered two more from the Cuckoos Nest to create a school. I messed up the order, then realized my mistake, sent them a quick message, and they corrected my order before sending it out. In short, lovely art that is a combination of traditional and modern, sold by helpful people.
